Bushed
Hi. It's Kirsten here once again. Trying to start my day. Yes, it's already 12:45, and yes I'm still in my pajamas, and yes my bed is begging me to go come back to bed, and yes I have a list of things to do on my day off. Ever since I started my nursing job about a month ago I've been exhausted in every sense of the word: physically, spiritually, mentally, emotionally. Nursing is going ok for the most part...I still feel slow and inexperienced, but I'm making small, ok teeney baby steps towards becoming an efficient, safe nurse. I haven't wanted to cry during or after work in about a week, so there's improvement right there! Thankfully God's made me an optimistic person, a person full of faith in reliance on Him to carry me through my day. Eventually I'm sure I'll actually look forward to going to work, but until that day arrives I'm just trying to tackle each moment of each day one baby step at a time.
